Forrest-Llewellyn Cemetery

Forest Llewellyn claims it is the oldest cemetery with the First Burial being 1845. Care Provided by the City of Kirksville Parks and Recreation Department.
General Rules:
1. Observance hours are Sunrise to Dusk.
2. Decorations permissible up to two (2) weeks following Memorial Day and Fourth of July holidays.

"Forest-Llewellyn Cemetery" published in 1983 by the City of Kirksville, Missouri in 1983 from an original compilation first printed in 1976. This is offered as a replacement to the limited Forest Llewellyn data currently appearing in the Cemetery Section of the Adair County GenWeb site. Someone a while back asked if anyone knew where the Kirksville Cemetery was. I appears according to this typed page from the transcription information that FOREST-LLEWELLYN was originally known as KIRKSVILLE CEMETERY, and can be entered thru the gates on Harrison Street.
